|PROGRAM||HUB DROP IN|
Tues, Wed, & Thurs
Drop-In at the HUB is a safe space for youth ages 12-18 to come after school three nights a week for positive fun, healthy relationships, personal growth, and skill development. We do this with lots of cool activities and stuff to do during free time.
Each HUB night of Drop-In involves free time, elective activities, and some special programs.
All youth with a completed and paid HUB membership will have access to these activities. Some exceptions apply for special programs.
During Drop-In: 4:00-5:30 Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday

Monopoly, cards, Life, Risk, and more. A great chance for relaxing fun (and no cheaters!)
Sit and have dinner with your peers and leaders every Wednesday night for 0.25/ person. The only catch is that everyone helps with clean up! People in the cooking program are automatically added to the dinner group.
After dinner on Wednesdays, you can choose to stay at the table for a quick discussion about faith, Jesus, and the Bible. This is a chance for you to discover and ask your questions in a judgement free environment. It is optional, the clean up from dinner is not 🙂
Join us in the blue room or games room for Mario Kart, Virtual Reality, Tetris, and much more. So many fun games, so little time!
Wednesday & Thursdays- 5:45-6:30
Got a big project coming up or just feeling stressed about an assignment? Let the YFC staff and volunteers help you or just enjoy the quiet work space to catch up on your homework and get those awesome grades!
Special Activity: Cooking Group (Wednesdays 4:30-6:30)
Cooking group is for youth ages 12-18 to learn some basic kitchen skills and get comfortable with dinner recipes that they can make at home. We learn, create, taste, and sometimes compete, but there is always dinner to look forward to at the end. We take a break in the middle of class to play a group game and invite other youth to enjoy what we made during Family Meal.
Special Activity: Leadership Development (Tuesdays 4:30-6:30)
This activity requires invited registration as it is meant for youth who are interested in or are currently volunteering in Youth for Christ Programs. This time together is meant to train young people to prepare them for their growing roles at YFC and joining the workforce in the near future. We spend the first hour learning about various topics of leadership, teamwork, and volunteering at YFC. During the second hour, the youth in the program are responsible for facilitating some of the Drop-In activities while supervised by an adult staff or volunteer. We are not accepting any volunteers who are below grade 10 and current school enrollment is required. Volunteer hours may be given, depending on level of participation. Please contact Emily Jensen, if you are interested in joining this special program.
